Backdrop

  1. What are the common points and differences between anointing and baptism in the Spirit?
  2. Can a Christian have one without the other? Can non-Pentecostals have an ‘anointed’ ministry?
  3. Does an ‘effective productive’ ministry (with fruits) mean or demonstrate that in essence, it’s anointed?
  4. One-time initial anointing or multiple fresh anointings?
  5. Different anointings for different purposes?
  6. ‘Powerful’ anointing implying possibility of ‘weak’ anointing? Anointing vs feeling, emotions, faith. Does anointing need to be ‘emotional’ as some portray it?
  7. Any difference between OT anointing of prophet, priest, king and NT anointing? Anointing to appoint an office bearer, anointing of sick persons to pray for them?

Answers to the above questions can be found on our PDF here:  Questions on the Anointing

1. Serve God’s Kingdom

“… love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Jos. 22:5)

… know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. (1 Chr. 28:9)

2. Serve Christ’s Church

Ways to serve:

  • Ushers
  • Community Services
  • E-Tuition
  • E-Café
  • E-Kids
  • Media
  • Worship
  • IT – Website

Serve better together!

3. Serve Others

Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. (Jn. 13:14-17)
